Firepower, Inc. is very proud to be the only public indoor shooting facility in Mecklenburg County.
Our facility includes two indoor firing ranges.
Our 6-bay, 50-foot indoor pistol range is equipped with automated shooting bays, a state-of-the-art air filtration system and Miggitt Training System's GranTrapT. GranTrapT represents some of the best available technology for bullet capture and containment. Utilizing granulate rubber material to stop incoming rounds, the bullet impacts the soft media and is captured predominately intact, minimizing airborne lead dust and averting backsplatter and ricochet. This provides a cleaner and safer environment for our shooting range.
Our 6-bay, 25-yard indoor pistol range is the latest edition to our facility. This range boasts automated shooting bays, a state-of-the-art air filtration system and Savage Range System's Wet Snail Trap System. Unlike older steel smash plate traps on the market, Wet Snail Traps have patented low-angle ramps that deflect the bullet into the patented round deceleration chamber, eliminating ricochet hazards. In the trap itself is a mixture of biodegradable oil and water that encapsulates any lead particles that may be generated, before they become airborne and inhaled by the range users. This results in a safer and cleaner environment for our shooters.
Each of the bullet entrapment systems utilized by our ranges uses the most modern technologies and is manufactured by the leaders in the industry. We are very proud be able to provide this equipment to our customers. Your safety and continued enjoyment of our facility is our primary goal.
Both ranges are for pistol-caliber ammunition weapons only and shotguns shooting buck or slug ammunition. No high-powered rifles are allowed.
